The police custody of PG operator arrested for the mishap at a PG in Sector 32 ended today after which a local court sent him to judicial custody.

Nitesh Bansal was arrested on February 22 after a fire incident was reported from a PG accommodation they were running illegally, which claimed the lives of three girl students.

The police had also booked Bansal’s partner Nitesh Popli and house owner Gaurav Aneja. Both Popli and Aneja are at large.

A case under Sections 304, 336, 34 and 188 of the IPC has been registered against all of them at the Sector 34 police station.
