Dr Baljeet Singh, Assistant Professor at Post Graduate Government College (PGGC), Sector 11, has fond a place in the World Rankings of top 2% scientists in an analysis conducted at Stanford University. Based on publications, citations and H-Index, he has been placed at rank 107318 among a total of 15,8792 scientists from across the world.
Dr Baljeet Singh’s ranking in his field has been 676 at the world level in all sciences. Only 1,491 scientists from India feature on this list. This research on ranking was published in the paper, “Updated Science-wide author databases of standardized citations indicators”, of Journal PLOS Biology on Oct 16, 2020 by Stanford University researchers.
Dr Singh has 150 publications and more than 1,500 citations to his credit. He is also a reviewer of more than 100 international journals.
He was awarded Indian National Science Academy Young Scientist Medal in Mathematics 2001. He was a visiting fellow to the University of Salford (2003), London South Bank University (2003) and to the University of Glasgow, UK (2003, 2010, 2013 and 2018).
