PGI faculty delivers national oration

PGIMER reaffirmed its leadership in cancer care and innovation as Rakesh Kapoor, Head (Unit-II), Department of Radiotherapy & Oncology, delivered the esteemed BD Gupta Oration at the 29th Annual Conference of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, North Zone (NZ-AROI) held at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana.

In the lecture titled “Reintegrating Brachytherapy: A Strategic Shift in Modern Radiation Oncology Practice”, Kapoor underscored that despite rapid technological advances in external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy continues to play an irreplaceable role in the treatment of selected cancers.
