The Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, and Thalassemic Charitable Trust, PGIMER, organised its 301st blood donation camp at the Community Centre, Sector 38, today.

This camp was dedicated to thalassaemic patients who need regular blood transfusions after 15-20 days and other needy patients. The Regional Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (ROTTO), PGIMER, and the Punjab Red Cross Society, Chandigarh, also participated in this camp, where 14 persons got themselves registered for voluntary organ donation. A total of 114 voluntary blood donors participated.
