The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has been placed second best medical institute in the NIRF Rankings-2022 announced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, today.

With this, the institute has retained the spot in the NIRF ranking for five years in a row i.e. from 2018 to 2022. AIIMS, New Delhi, is ranked first in this category, whereas Christian Medical College, Vellore, is ranked third.

Prof Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER, congratulated the faculty members for their support and effort in achieving the feat. He said the position had been attained by the combined team effort of all faculty and staff members of the institute.
