Under the "Every Friday, Fight Dengue" campaign, Civil Surgeon Dr Sangeeta Jain visited various places in district today. Along with a team of senior health officials, Jain visited several houses in Phase V to inspect potential mosquito breeding grounds. The Civil Surgeon explained the symptoms, causes, prevention and treatment of dengue.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
