The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Chandigarh branch, joined hands with Bhavan Vidyalaya (junior wing), Sector 33, here and Saraswati College of Physiotherapy to organise a cyclothon from the school campus to Sukhna Lake on Saturday, commemorating World Ozone Day.

The IAP team, led by Dr Monica Chhabra (president), along with Dr Vishesh Singla (vice-president), Dr Satish Sharma (treasurer), Dr Amit Gupta and Dr Vaneet Kaler (joint secretaries), and Dr Nitin Pruthi and Dr Arpit (executive committee members), provided comprehensive physiotherapy and medical support.

The day began with warm-up and stretching sessions conducted at the school premises. As the students pedalled their way to Sukhna Lake, Dr Satish joined them on a cycle. At the lake, physiotherapists guided participants through cool-down exercises to help recovery and prevent muscle strain. —TNS
