Pinjore heritage festival from Dec 21

The Annual Pinjore Heritage Festival will be held on December 21 and 22 at Pinjore.
To attract more visitors, the Tourism Department has decided to allow free entry to the school students and senior citizens visiting the festival.
The entry fee for tourists has also been reduced from Rs 25 to Rs 15 per person for the festival, which will be inaugurated by Haryana Tourism Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar. Famous Punjabi folk singer Jasbir Jassi and well-known Bollywood singer Madhushree will perform at the festival.
Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana Tourism Department, Vijai Vardhan shared this during a press conference held here today. Randhir Golan, Chairman, Haryana Tourism Corporation; Vikas Yadav, Managing Director; Dilawar Singh, General Manager, were also present in the press conference.
Vardhan said the festival will also organise a crafts bazaar, where craftsmen from different parts of the country will be invited to display their unique handlooms and handicrafts and apart from the pottery items, tourists will also be able to purchase the costumes of handicrafts from states such as Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, UP, Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.
The Institute of Hotel Management in Kurukshetra, Panipat, Rohtak and Faridabad will set up food stalls for the sale of bakery products.
Golan said that the Haryana Government will organise various fairs and festivals for the preservation of the culture of the state to promote tourism.
