Out of the eligible 129 students, as many as 103 received placements in various companies, informed Professor Deepak Kapur, Chairperson University Business School.
A final placement report of batch 2018-2020 for different MBA programs was released today. Kapur stated that amid the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, when the national and world economy has taken a major hit, the department has been able to achieve honourable placements for its batch graduating in the year 2020.
It was further informed that as many as 43% new recruiters visited UBS for batch 2018-2020, while 25% roles have been offered in research, consultancy, and advisory roles. A total of 60% increase in manufacturing recruiters, while there was a 57% increase in the pre-placement offers made by companies. “The average CTC was approximately Rs 9,44,000 (per annum), while the median CTC0 went approximately Rs 8,50,000 (per annum). The highest domestic CTC is offered by American Express limited which is Rs 18,81,000 (per annum), while the highest international is Rs 55,00,000 (per annum) by Tolaram Group,” said Kapur.
