Directed by Amit Sanauria and Sarver Ali, the play brought into focus an all-time relevant issue of black marketing resulting in inflation.

Housewife Lakshmi, in connivance with friend Mala, tries to hide the fact that she smuggled food out of a supermarket during a food riot from her husband Gobind, who disapproves of eating stolen food. The play turns out to be a riotous action comedy that kept the audience enraptured.

A ‘Ru Ba Ru’ with SS Virdi, former Vice-Chairman of the Punjab Arts Council, was part of the event. Besides, a street play, ‘Eh Lahu Kisda Hai’, was staged by Impact Arts.
