Panchkula, January 23

Speaker Gian Chand Gupta today held a meeting with senior officials of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority (PMDA), HSIIDC, HSVP, Panchkula MC and PWD — to discuss various development projects being carried out in the district.

During the meeting, officials informed the Speaker that the MC had handed over works of 38 ‘A’ roads to the PMDA, which would get all those main roads recarpeted. At present, water supply and sewerage works were the responsibility of the HSVP. Now, this work would be the responsibility of the MC within sectors, and that of the PMDA on the outside, they said.
