Tenant verification: Police continue search drive in Zirakpur

Mohali, June 19

The police conducted a search operation at the Maya Garden City society on the Nagla road today. However, no suspicious person, weapon or vehicle was recovered from the society.

Zirakpur Station House Officer Deepinder Singh Brar said there were a total of 1,667 flats in the Maya Garden City society, of which 1,350 flats were occupied by owners while 150 flats were found locked. Tenants were living in 167 flats. Their owners have been asked to provide verification papers of the tenants and rent deed of the houses.

Today, 1,400 flats were checked in the society. The cooperation of the residents welfare association was also sought in the search operation. He appealed to the people of the city to cooperate with the police.
