Police launch cyber security awareness drive

As part of the National Cyber Security Awareness Month, the Cyber Crime Police Station, Sector 17, Chandigarh, organised an awareness campaign during Dasehra celebrations to educate citizens about safe digital practices and the growing menace of online fraud.
The drive, led by SHO Eram Rizvi and her team, was conducted across various parts of the city, with a major outreach programme held at the Ramleela Ground in Sector 29.
Addressing the gathering, Rizvi warned citizens about a host of scams, including digital arrest frauds, phishing, OTP-based financial crimes, fake investment schemes, impersonation and fraudulent customer care helplines.
