Potholed Mohali roads cry for immediate repairs

Potholes on roads in Phase 3B2 and Phase 10 here are causing inconvenience to commuters. Several minor accidents have also take place on these roads.

Ranjit Singh, a resident of Phase 3B2, said the slip road on the Phase 3-5 crossing was completely damaged and needed immediate repair. Commuters avoid the slip road during the night hours due to the poor condition of the road.

Sarabjit Singh, a resident of Phase 10, said a portion of the road in the residential area in front of Silvi Park had caved in. The damaged portion was not visible during late night hours, which could lead to a mishap.

Arshdeep Singh, a resident of Phase 10, said a school bus recently got stuck on the potholed road.

MC Commissioner Kamal Kumar Garg said he would get the roads repaired soon. — TNS
