Power firm extends voluntary declaration scheme till Sept 30
Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited (CPDL) has extended its Voluntary Declaration Scheme (VDS) for domestic and commercial consumers with sanctioned load up to 99 KW.
The scheme, introduced in July to allow consumers to declare their actual power load, was initially launched for one month and later extended till August 31. On consumer demand, CPDL has now extended it till September 30.
Officials said the scheme offers a simple process for consumers to declare and enhance their load, helping the utility plan and strengthen the power distribution system more effectively.
Consumers can submit the declaration form online at www.chandigarhpower.com.
