Armed with swords, rods and sticks, around 50 unidentified youths in 15 cars came and ransacked Bajwa’s office before thrashing his employees in Sunny Lovely Developers, Sector 102, on the night of September 27, the FIR states.

Sukhdev, 30, alleged that one Gurinder Singh, of Ambe Majra, Fatehgarh Sahib, and his men barged into his office and tried to take possession of nine kanals of land, registered on Gurvinder’s mother Surinder Kaur’s name, on the backside of his 20-acre project.

While Sukhdev claimed that the land was jointly bought through a common account with the rival party on June 5, 2017, and the demarcation of the land was not done, Gurinder Singh said it was his ancestral property. “I went there on my tractor to sow mustard at 10 am. It is a white lie,” he said, adding that the builders lobby was out there to grab farmers’ land. A case was registered at the IT City police station on September 27. Bajwa Developers Managing Director Jarnail Singh Bajwa is in jail serving three years rigorous imprisonment in a cheating case.
