Protest enters 19th day

The association’s protest against the delay in CAS promotiosn entered its 19th day on Tuesday. Teachers raised slogans on teacher-farmer unity. Prof Satvinderpal Kaur, Prof Supinder Kaur and Dr Indu Dhawan recited poems depicting the tremendous contribution of farmers to the nation building. Vinod Kumar explained the implications of the three farm laws being opposed by the farmers.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
