PU grants golden chance to PG, professional course students

Panjab University has announced to grant a golden chance to all postgraduate and professional courses semester system students to clear their any pending reappear, compartment, full subjects or improvement and missed practical since admission year 2011.

Earlier, the golden chance opportunity was available to all undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses semester students from the year 2014.

Controller of Examinations Jagat Bhushan, informed that students who do not have reappear chances available can apply for this examination to clear their respective reappear, compartment, full subjects, improvement /missed practical.

The golden chance will be only for the semester system courses and will be conducted along with the end semester examinations (November/December) for odd semesters and (April /May 2026) for even semesters.

The Online application portal will remain open till August 16. All applications must be submitted online only and for even semesters, the opening date of portal will tentatively be in the month of February 2026 and examination for the same will be conducted in end Semester Examination (May 2026).
