According to students appearing for the exam, the question paper was not framed as per the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the prescribed syllabus.

The exam was scheduled to be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. As soon as the question paper reached students, they informed the authorities concerned that it was not according to the syllabus.

“Students claimed that literature-related questions were asked in the question paper, including poems, that were not part of the syllabus,” the teacher added.

PU Controller of Examinations Prof Jagat Bhushan said the questions were not checked after the papers was set. “The paper setter was given the correct syllabus. An investigation will be conducted to determine where the mistake occurred, and action will be taken according to the rules,” he said.
