The team behind this breakthrough includes Kataria, Kushal Arya and Ajay Kumar (research scholar), Surinder Singh, Ravinder Kumar, SK Mehta and Vinod Kumar (CU, Haryana).

This pioneering invention introduces a highly efficient method for degrading dye contaminants in wastewater using a composite material known as PUC-8@rGO. In addition to its effectiveness in treating dyed wastewater, the treated water can be repurposed for agricultural irrigation. The textile industry responsible for a significant proportion of global dye effluent stands to benefit from this innovative technology.
