Research scholars at Panjab University continue to protest against the authorities for their failure to open the campus libraries.
“The AC Joshi library was closed due to the order of the UT Administration. We always maintain that Panjab University is an autonomous body and UT order has no relation with its functioning,” stated the protesting scholars.
“The UT Administration had allowed the reopening but the PU authorities did not bother to follow the rules. Students were told the library would be opened. However it remain closed,” they added.
