Puducherry Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma has been appointed Adviser to the Chandigarh Administrator.

This was said in an official order of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

His posting has been effected along with two more officers of the AGMUT cadre.

Details are awaited.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
