Punjab, Delhi enter final of North Zone IA&AD Football Tournament
In the ongoing North Zone IA&AD Football Tournament at Sector 46 Sports Complex, two local teams AG Punjab and AG Haryana shared the spoils. With goal difference being the deciding factor, AG Punjab marched into the final to face AG Delhi.
It was AG Punjab lads who drew the first blood in the 22nd minute. Abhishek Sharma put the team ahead by scoring a stunning goal. However, in the 54th minute, Harman Brar managed to pull off one for the AG Haryana outfit to level the score. The scoreline remained unchanged at the final whistle.
In other matches, AG Uttarakhand defeated AG Uttar Pradesh 3-0, while AG Delhi played a goalless draw against AG Jammu & Kashmir. Both teams showcased competitive spirit, resulting in a stalemate with no goals scored.
