Chandigarh, February 21
The Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, PGIMER, will organise the 7th annual conference of the Indian Radiological Imaging Association (IRIA) on February 22 and 23, in collaboration with the faculty from the Division of Diagnostic Imaging, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas, USA.
The conference is being held under the guidance of Prof MS Sandhu, Chairperson and Head, Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging, PGIMER, and Prof Naveen Kalra, organising secretary of the conference. The conference will be inaugurated by Prof Jagat Ram, Director, PGI. Dr Deepak Patkar, president of the national body of the Indian Radiological Imaging Association, will be the guest of honour.
The conference has been designed to create awareness among residents and participants about recent advances in the field for the practising radiologists.
This is for the first time that the Chandigarh chapter of IRIA is organising its annual conference in collaboration with international faculty from a leading centre of the world. Four faculty members from the MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA, will be sharing their knowledge and experience with the delegates.
