Railway police arrest illegal ticket seller

The crime branch of the Railway Police, Ambala Division, raided the premises of an illegal ticket seller at Mandi Gobindgarh today and nabbed him. An FIR has been registered against him at the Sirhind railway police station.
An SI said the police got a tip-off that a person was selling railway booking tickets at high rates in the Motia Khan area of Mandi Gobindgarh. The crime branch team raided the premises of Hari Om Kumar and found that he was downloading railway tickets from his personal e-mail ID and selling those to migrant labourers at high rates. One has to take a dealership from the Railways to sell tickets.
The police recovered four tickets from him and arrested him under section 143 of the Railway Act.
