Raised by a single parent, Nasib clinches gold for UT
The Sub Junior National Judo Championship was held in Hyderabad
Local judoka Nasib Bohara, a student of the Government Model High School, Sector 21, bagged laurels by winning a gold medal at the Sub Junior National Judo Championship, in Hyderabad. Raised by a single mother, who works as a cook at a Sector 19 residence, Bohara showed exceptional determination and discipline. Despite challenging circumstances, he showcased remarkable skill and secured his first-ever national gold.
Last year, he narrowly missed the top podium and settled for a silver medal at the Sub Junior Nationals in Pune. This year, he dominated the championship by defeating all his opponents by Ippon, leaving no room for doubt about his supremacy. He trains under the guidance of International Judo Coach Vivek Thakur, who claims over 500 national medallists in his kitty.
