Last year, he narrowly missed the top podium and settled for a silver medal at the Sub Junior Nationals in Pune. This year, he dominated the championship by defeating all his opponents by Ippon, leaving no room for doubt about his supremacy. He trains under the guidance of International Judo Coach Vivek Thakur, who claims over 500 national medallists in his kitty.
