Raja Warring kick-starts ‘Judega Block, Jittegi Congress’ drive
The Punjab Congress on Friday kick-started its campaign the ‘Judega Block, Jittegi Congress’, with the first state-level events held at Dera bassi and Sanaur.
Under the campaign, PPCC chief Amrinder Raja Warring will tour 237 blocks across the state.
Launching the campaign, Warring and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa called for unity and strengthening the block-level leadership to lay the foundation for the 2027 Vidhan Sabha elections.
Highlighting the need for regular block meetings, Warring urged all block presidents to hold monthly gatherings every third Tuesday of the month to discuss concerns, share feedback, and ensure the party’s roadmap and plans reach every household. “We must connect with every household, understand their issues, and become their voice. This is our responsibility, and it is through this groundwork that we will achieve victory in 2027,” he asserted.
“Our victory in the Lok Sabha elections was possible only because of the relentless efforts of our workers on the ground. Now, we must work even harder to ensure the Congress’ victory in the 2027 Vidhan Sabha elections. Let us strive together with positivity and determination to make this vision a reality,” he said.
Warring expressed his commitment to this mission, stating, “I will personally visit every block under this program because Punjab needs us, and we need to become the voice of the people. Together, we will build a stronger Punjab, one block at a time”.
