Established with an objective of training students in space science and satellite development, this state-of-the-art space centre will be an earth station for Chandigarh University Student Satellite (CUSAT), an in-house developed nano-satellite being designed by students, besides other important projects.

“The university has taken a giant leap by launching its own ground control station, KCCRSST, dedicated to the first woman astronaut of Indian origin to go into space,” said Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu. — TNS
