Rakesh Kumar wins Panchkula Bar body president election by four votes
Rakesh Kumar was elected as the president of the District Bar Association in a close race, defeating Satish Kumar Kadian by just four votes. Kumar secured 508 votes, while Kadian received 504.
For the post of Vice-President, Omparkash Mahour emerged victorious, defeating Jeevan Singh Saini by a margin of 104 votes. Mahour garnered 558 votes, while Saini secured 454.
Kulvir Singh Saini won the contest for Secretary with a significant lead of 306 votes. He received 659 votes, while his opponent, Amit Kumar Goel, managed 353.
The contest for Treasurer saw a triangular contest, with Ravinder Kumar emerging as the winner. He secured 517 votes, defeating Bhagwan Das, who received 420 votes, by a margin of 97. The third candidate, Sanjeev Kumar Mehra, polled 75 votes. —TNS
