Raza Kaur, with a score of 79 in gold division, was leading the field on Day 1 of the Panchkula Ladies Open Championship held at the Panchkula Golf Club today.

Sunita Singla, who has scored 89 in Silver Division, and Renu Diwan, with a score of 98 in bronze division, led the field, respectively. As many as 84 women golfers are competing in the meet.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
