RBU student bags karate silver medal

A Rayat Bahra University student bagged laurels at the All-India Inter-University Karate Championship.

The student, Somit Kumar, turned in a strong perforamnce to bag a silver medal in the 50 kg category of the tournament.

The All-India Inter-University Karate Championship took place at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
