Received encouraging response, say developers

The second edition of ‘The Tribune Real Estate Expo – 2020’, the biggest expo of the region, concluded on a positive note here today.
Developers received an overwhelming response from prospective buyers despite sluggish market conditions. They said the queries received by them during the expo were two to three times more than normal walk-ins at their marketing office. They said their focus would now be conversion of leads.
“The response has been amazing. A majority of the queries, almost 80 per cent, were for flats,” said Pooja Kochhar, Head Sales, Janta Land Promoters (P) Ltd. She added that on normal days, the queries at their marketing office were around 20-25 whereas on weekend, the number was 30-35.
Echoing similar sentiments, Harmil Thakur, AVP-Sales and Marketing, Ambika Realcon, said: “In the three-day exposition, we have received around 64 leads. Routine walk-ins at our office are around 8-10 on weekdays and 15-20 on weekends.”
The developers said that it was an interesting experience.
Akash Tiwari, Jubilee Group Marketing Manager, said: “Considering the current market conditions, the leads or queries received were beyond our expectation. We have received around 140 queries. The group’s all project are on prime locations, including commercial and residential.”
The developers were hopeful of sealing good deals in the coming days.
According to the developers, the major USP of the event was presence of several developers and financial institutions. So, this enabled the buyers to have wide bouquet of choices under one roof, they said.
“The expo has given us several options for our dream home. Also, the fact that the developers offering flats and plots here are RERA-approved helped us to make a more informed choice,” said Narinder Singh, a visitor.
Powered by Jubilee Group, several leading brands — Sushma, JLPL, Marbella, HLP Galleria, Escon primera, The Mentor Group, Highland Park, Ambika, SBP, Victoria, The paradise, Wwics Estates, Manohar Infra, Uptown Skylla, Sapphire Court, Vaneet Infra, Quarkcity, El Spazia, Myst Arcade, RVA, Mohali Walk, Hero homes and Omaxe — participated in the event. Among the other participants were TMT Plus, PNB, IDBI and HDFC Ltd.
