The directive came during the District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting chaired by the Minister at the PWD Rest House. During the meeting, Goyal heard 15 complaints. Five of these were dismissed, one was resolved to the satisfaction of the complainant, while directions were issued for speedy resolution of the remaining cases.
In cases involving vehicle encroachment, the Municipal Commissioner and other officials were instructed to inspect the sites and take corrective measures. He also directed that water from drainage systems must not flow towards villages. The Minister assured that budget from the municipal body would be made available for building protective embankments where needed.
