The complex is equipped with an air-handling unit which has high-efficiency particulate air filter and provides protection from infection and contamination from airborne microorganisms.

New devices — monitors, blood gas analyser, compression devices, syringe pumps — have been added to the complex to provide liver cirrhosis patients with high-quality care.

The PGI Director, who inaugurated the complex, said quality care to patients of liver disease is essential and appreciated the LICU team.
