Panchkula Police have adopted a strict approach towards curbing traffic rule violations and launched a special campaign under the directives of Police Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Arya. Led by ACP Traffic Sukarpal Singh, this initiative aims to identify drivers who have violated traffic rules more than twice and take strict action against them. The primary objective of this campaign is to educate habitual offenders and strengthen road safety in the city.

To ensure adherence to traffic rules, the Panchkula Police is leveraging modern technology. Traffic monitoring is being conducted through challan machines, CCTV cameras and mobile clicks, allowing authorities to take immediate action against violators.

ACP Traffic Sukarpal Singh has urged citizens to report traffic rule violations by calling the Traffic Police Helpline Number — 7087084433. He appealed to the public to follow traffic rules and contribute towards maintaining a safe and smooth traffic system.

For public convenience, the process of paying traffic challans has been made simpler. QR codes will now be installed in all police stations, tehsils and mini secretariats, enabling people to pay their challans easily.
