Man hurt in assault at Manimajra

A man was injured in an assault by around six persons at the bus stand in Manimajra on Saturday. Abdul Wahid reported that Naveen Hudda, accompanied by five or six accomplices, assaulted him and his nephews, Mosin and Ashkar Ali, with sticks and firearms. Wahid sustained injuries and was hospitalised.

House burgled in Sector 23

A burglary was reported at a house in Sector 23 here on Saturday morning. The house owner, Gurdharshan Singh, said the thief broke a window grill around 8:15 am and stole a large amount of gold jewellery and Rs 1 lakh cash.
