Residents of Ward Number 10 of Mandi Gobindgarh Municipal Council (MC), among the richest council of the state, are facing the problems like the lack of clean drinking water, sewerage and cleanliness woes.
Residents from other wards are also facing civic problems, alleged Shiromani Akali Dal (B) leader Gurpreet Singh Raju Khanna while talking to the media today after listening to the problems of the people.
He said the residents of the town are even struggling to get clean drinking water, further adding, “The sewage system is also not functioning properly resulting in that the sewage water is seen accumulating in the streets.”
The leader said he has started visiting the wards just to apprise the officials about the problems being faced by the residents and to call for immediate action.
