Returning officers, assistant returning officers appointed

The State Election Commission (SEC) has appointed officers as Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) for holding the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council/Nagar Panchayat elections – 2021.

The SDM, Mohali, will be the RO for the Municipal Corporation, Ward No. 1 to 25, and the Divisional Engineer (Civil 2), GMADA, will be the ARO for the same region. The Director Public Instructions (DPI), School, Secondary Education, will be the RO for the Municipal Corporation, Ward No. 26 to 50, while the Divisional Engineer (Civil), GMADA, will be the ARO.

The District Revenue Officer will be the RO for the Municipal Council Banur and the Naib Tehsildar, Banur, will be the ARO. Similarly, for Municipal Council, Nayagaon, the Assistant Commissioner (G), Mohali, will be the RO supported by the Executive Engineer, Water Supply and Sanitation, Division No.3, Mohali, as the ARO.

The SDM, Dera Bassi, will be the RO for the Municipal Council, Dera Bassi, and the Executive Engineer (B&R), Provincial Division, PWD, Mohali, will be the ARO. For the Municipal Council, Lalru, the Estate Officer (Housing), GMADA, Mohali, will the RO and the Executive Engineer, Water Supply and Sanitation, Division No. 2, Mohali, will be the ARO. In the Municipal Council, Kurali, the Assistant Commissioner (UT), Mohali, will be the RO and the Naib Tehsildar, Majri, will be the ARO. For the Municipal Council, Kharar, the SDM, Kharar, will be the RO and the Naib Tehsildar, Kharar, will be the ARO. For the Municipal Council, Zirakpur, the Estate Officer, (Plots) GMADA, SAS Nagar, will be the RO and the Naib Tehsildar, Agrarian, Mohali, will be the ARO. — TNS
