Roads in bad shape

A road near the Civil Dispensary in Sector 8, Panchkula, is dotted with potholes. However, the civic body has apparently turned a blind eye to this. Such is the condition of several road in the city, including those re-carpeted around a year ago. Does it not clearly imply that proper quality control was not ensured by the officials concerned?

Kumar Gupt, Panchkula

Maintain hygiene

Workers at sweet shops are seen handling sweets without wearing gloves. The authority concerned needs to pay heed to this and issue regulations to maintain hygiene. Such unhygienic practices can spread diseases.

Abhilasha Gupta, Mohali

Is a civic issue bothering you? Are you agitated over the lack of concern? Is there something heartening that you feel needs to be highlighted? Or a picture which in your opinion ought to be seen by many, and not just you?
