Chandigarh: Rose Fest kicks off today

Three-day Rose Festival 2024 will be kicked off by Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Banwarilal Puorhit at 11 am tomorrow.

A total of 829 varieties of roses will be on display. There will also be various cultural and state dance performances.

The event will feature a food court inside the garden, LED screens for display of roses and adherence to zero-waste policy. There will be no light-and-sound show this time.

An instrumental evening by international artistes will be held near Museum & Art Gallery at 6.30 pm.
