Roshan Kumar scored 79.50 points to win the men’s U-40 traditional solo event during the All-India Civil Services Yogasana Championship organised by the Chandigarh Sports Department. Prem Singh Rajpurohi (79 points) and Yogeshwar Sanap (78.50 points) claimed second and third position.
In the artistic sole event, Rajpurohit (80), Himanshu Sharma (67.13) and Sanap (64.13) excelled. In the artistic pair, the team of Pawan and Sachin (136.25) won the top position, followed by Vikas and Dr Vikas Singh (121) and Sachin Balu Gawade and Sanap (117.63) claimed top three positions. The rhythmic pair of Ravi and Mohit (166.75) bagged the gold medal, followed by Roshan Kumar and Ashu Parasher (146.75) at second position and Hemant and Ravinder (134.50) at third.
In the men’s 40-50 years traditional solo, Dr Parveen Kumar (118), Dayanand Bidwe (104) and Vinod Kumar Dhanjibhai Solanki (103) bagged laurels, and in the artistic solo, Roshan Lal (61.50), Rakesh Chandra Kandwal (57.63) and BK Ramudu (56.75) won medals. In the artistic pair, the team of Mukesh Kumar Sharma and Sunil Kumar (161) won the top position, followed by Roshan Lal and Jatinder Singh (140.88) at second, Ghanshyambhai Maganbhai Rathava and Vinodkumar Dhanjibhai Solanki (127.13) at third. Mukesh and Vinod (159.38) won the rhythmic event, followed by Jitender Singh and Lal (132.13) and Rajesha and S Theerthakumar (131.38).
In the women’s U-40 artistic pair, Tannu Saini and Sonu (160), Rutuja Jagdale and Sonali Chandrabhan Borade (133) and Vijeta Soni-Jyoti Patel (117.9) bagged laurels. Prachi Mann and Manisha Sharma (108.25) won the rhythmic pair event, followed by Sonali and Rutuja (104.63) and Sunita and Preeti Tyagi (101.88). In the 40 to 50 years traditional solo, Yashodha Rani (70.5), Neelam Puri Bisht (66.5) and Meenakshi (66) bagged medals, while in the artistic solo, Nidhi (70.5), Chetanaben Chaudhari (69.63) and Nootan Kumari (60.88) won medals.
In the artistic pair, Shubhangi Ankush Shejul and Veena Ranade (81.75), Poonam and Meenakshi (79.50), Kammali Padma and Sindhu AR (71.63) shined. In the rhythmic pair, Nidhi and Yashodha Rani (121.25) won gold medal, followed by Shubhangi Chikte and Veena Ranade (86.50) and Neelam Bisht and Neelam Puri (86.50) at third.
