The family members of a patient who died created a ruckus at the Civil Hospital here this afternoon. The deceased, Yuvraj of Mani Majra, who was in his 30s, was declared brought dead.

As per the protocol, the Sector 6 police post informed the Chandigarh Police about the incident. “The family, however, wanted to take the body with it without the police formalities to be completed. They created a ruckus after we stopped them. The commotion continued for some time, but we finally managed to convince them,” the SHO of the Sector 7 police station, Inspector Mahabir Singh, said. — TNS
