Sadiq scripts Indian Navy's victory

Chandigarh, April 20

Mohammed Sadiq scored three goals as Indian Navy outplayed South Central Railway 5-1 in the ongoing 3rd Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament played at the AstroTurf hockey ground of 3 BRD here today.

Sadiq scored the opening goal in the 8th minute, followed by two goals (44th minute, 55th minute). Sunny Malik (30th minute) and Nitesh (38th minute) scored a goal each. Raju Pal (17th minute) scored the only goal for South Central Railway. Army XI played a 4-4 draw against Punjab Police. Biraj Ekka (3rd minute, 59th minute), Harman Singh (14th minute) and Sanjay Toppo (36th minute) scored goals for Army XI. Gaganpreet Singh (32nd minute, 52nd minute) scored two goals for the Police team, while Arshdeep Singh (8th minute) and Karanbir Singh (13th minute) scored a goal each.

Bangladesh Ari Force defeated CISF 2-1. Rail Coach Factory logged a 7-2 win over Integral Coach Factory. —
