Chandigarh, March 12
Dr Sanjeev Khosla today joined as the full-time Director of CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH). Dr Khosla, who has more than two decades of research experience, succeeds Dr Anil Koul who resigned last year.
Dr Khosla, prior to his appointment as the Director, was working as a scientist at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad.
He completed his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He had worked on the correlation of chromatin organisation with genomic imprinting and sex determination in insects. He has more than 30 publications in reputed science citation index journals.
