On the opening day of the CLTA-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship, Sankalp Sachdeva moved ahead in the men’s category by posting a 9-7 win over Vansh Sharma.

Aksh Jood defeated Delhi’s Shaurya Raj Gupta 9-7, while Hardit ousted Haryana’s Abhijeet Verma and Jaideep Singh defeated Akshay Goswami of Uttar Pradesh by identical scores of 9-1.

Ayan Sachin Shetty of Maharashtra defeated Ankith Dosuza of Telangana 9-2, and Aadith KA of Tamil Nadu ousted P Soni of MP 9-4. Prabhsifat Singh ousted Delhi’s Tushar Baghel 9-2, Armaan Walia defeated Prabhsaran Lakra 9-0.

Nikil Dosuza of Telangana defeated Arjun Premkumar 9-1, Love Pahal posted a 9-5 win over Udayinder Singh and Aditya Mor of Haryana defeated Ayush Singh 9-2. Arjun Rathi also marched into the next round by defeating Sachit Thakur 9-0 and Namit Bhatia of Uttar Pradesh posted a 9-2 win over Param Sidana.
