SBI Chandigarh hosts DLC camp: More than 200 pensioners submit ‘Jeevan Pramaan’
To promote senior citizens’ wellbeing, SBI also organised a free health‑check‑up camp alongside the event
As part of the Government of India’s Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0, the State Bank of India, RBO Chandigarh, led by its Regional Manager Subhashini Rai, organised a special mega camp for pensioners at local head office (LHO) in Sector 17 here.
The camp was inaugurated by Shri Krishan Sharma, Chief General Manager, SBI LHO Chandigarh, along with Network General Managers Neeraj Bharti and Vimal Kishore. Officials from RBO Chandigarh, RBO Mohali, RBO Panchkula, PGIMER Chandigarh Branch and Main Branch Chandigarh actively participated in the event.
More than 200 pensioners attended the camp and successfully submitted their Digital Life Certificates (Jeevan Pramaan) with assistance from bank officials.
To promote senior citizens’ wellbeing, SBI also organised a free health‑check‑up camp alongside the event. During the interaction, pensioners were guided on digital awareness and cyber‑security, including tips on how to stay alert and avoid online or digital arrest/fraud.
