Bhavan students donate 500 ration kits to families in Bapu Dham

Furthering the service initiatives undertaken by the Bhavan Old Students Society (BOSS), the student community of Bhavan Vidyalaya donated 500 dry ration kits to the families living in Bapu Dham Colony today. Bhavan’s student Head Boy Prabhav Sharma and Vice Captain Armaan Angra, along with Vice President Richa Gupta, handed over the ration kits to the UT Deputy Commissioner.

The Postgraduate Department of Economics, in collaboration with Swachhata Committee of MCM DAV College for Women, Sector 36, organised an Online Essay Writing Competition on the topic- Importance of Cleanliness amid COVID-19: Suggestions and Socio-Economic Implications. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation wherein students impressed upon cleanliness as the first line of defence against the virus, discussed at length the unprecedented impact of the pandemic on the economy and society, and proposed suggestions to deal with this impact.

Dev Samaj College of Education (DSCE), Sector 36, organised a webinar on the theme ‘A Roadmap to Sustainable Development through Sports, Yoga, Art, Music and Culture during Covid-19’. Around 153 participants all around the country participated joined the webinar.
