School notes: Bhavan Vidyalaya
Bhavan Vidyalaya (Sector 33 and Sector 27) and New Chandigarh celebrated the Republic Day by organising its annual prize distribution and investiture ceremony. The occasion was attended by Justice Ritu Bahri, former chief justice, Uttarakhand High Court; RK Saboo, Chairperson, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan; Madhukar Malhotra, secretary, and Vineeta Arora, Director Education cum Senior Principal, alongwith others. A pivotal moment of the event was the investiture ceremony, where leadership was passed on to the new senior school cabinet. Outgoing School Captains Arushi Ahuja and Naryani Khanna also participated.
Delhi Public School
Delhi Public School, Sector 40, celebrated India's 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Principal Reema Dewan, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The celebration featured a series of performances, including a speech by Rishika Bhatia highlighting the role of youth in strengthening the nation.
Gillco International School
Gillco International School organised "Carnival Euphoria", designed as the ultimate family day. It feartured an array of activities and experiences for all age groups. Thrilling rides kept adrenaline levels and exciting science experiments were also organised for the students. The carnival reflected holistic learning and creating meaningful community experiences, the school principal said.
Shishu Niketan, Sector 22
The nursery students of Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22D, celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by the principal, accompanied by a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem sung by the little ones. The celebration was vibrant and featured activities where the children showcased their talents through flag making, singing patriotic songs among others.
Saint Soldier International School
Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm. The hoisting of flag was followed by the rendition of the national anthem. Teachers' choir paid an overwhelming tribute to the country by their mesmerizing patriotic song.
Ryan International School
The 76th Republic Day was marked with enthusiasm at Ryan International School, Sector 49. Colonel DS Bindra (retd.) attended the ceremonial unfurling of the flag, accompanied by the rendition of the National Anthem by the school band. A series of cultural presentations, including soul-stirring patriotic songs and captivating dances to patriotic tunes, graced the stage.

Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, came alive with patriotic pride and joy, as it celebrated the 76th Republic Day of India with a grand event on the school premises. The occasion was marked by a series of vibrant performances that showcased the unity, diversity, and cultural richness of the nation. The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by the Principal, Rev Sr Venita Joseph.
