School Notes: DAV Model School

An Bhajan Prabhat, "Bhajanotsav", was organised by the management, staff members and students of DAV Model School, Sector 15, under the aegis of Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha as a divine amalgamation of values of Arya Samaj to commemorate Swami Shradhanand Balidaan Diwas. Around 200 hundred students from Classes 1 to 12 participated in the event.

AKSIPS-41

AKSIPS-41 Smart School organised a cultural extravaganza "Bekhauff: Azad Hai Jeena Mujhe" as a part of their annual day celebrations. The show features performaces that showcased dances, costumes and showmanship. The charm and performance of the students witnessed an unceasing applause.

Gurukul Global

Gurukul Global School organised farewell for the Class 12 of 2024-25 themed "Blazing Trails - Carving the Path". The celebrations began with games and dance performances by Class 11 and musical performances by both Classes 11 and 12. The day concluded with giving away the title of Mr Globalite to Divye Boore, Globalite 2on to Hargun Kaur, well-dressed boy to Aditya Jaggi and well-dressed girl to Tanishka Khare.

KB DAV, Sector 7

A blood donation camp was held at KBDAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 7, in association with Blood Bank Society, PGIMER, Sector 12. The camp coincided with the parent-teacher meeting and as many as 43 units of blood were collected by the dedicated team of doctors from the hospital.

Saint Soldier School

To mark the school's 50th Founder's Day, Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, instituted a three-day Akhand Path on its premises. The culmination of the Shri Akhand Path, included the Bhog ceremony and Kirtan, saw gathering of students, alumni and parents.

Shishu Niketan, Sector 22

Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22D, organised a winter carnival for primary class students. The event featured dance performances as children enjoyed the festive atmosphere. The day was packed with joy and festive spirit as the little ones celebrated the season with their peers.

St Xavier's School, Zirakpur

Students of St Xavier's School, Zirakpur, visited the CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) lab. During the educational excursion, students were introduced to the fascinating process of DNA extraction. They observed first-hand how scientific techniques are used to isolate and study the genetic blueprint of life.
