School notes: Grandparents’ Day celebrated
Gurukul Global, Panchkula
The school was alive with joy and nostalgia as it celebrated Grandparents’ Day. The event commenced with a diya-lighting ceremony followed by a presentation that beautifully compiled the treasured memories shared by grandparents with their grandchildren. The day was filled with various competitions, showcasing the talent and creativity of grandparents.
St Joseph’s, Sec 44-D, Chd
School students, under the guidance of Principal Monica Chawla, initiated a paper bank revolution. Through a meticulous upcycling process, the collected paper is transformed into high-quality notepads, suitable for use on the school premises.
Saupin’s School, Panchkula
Students of classes V to X enjoyed a thrilling day of adventure and team-building activities during their one-day excursion to Skills and Thrills, Ramgarh. The trip was packed with high-energy activities designed to challenge and inspire students. The day concluded with a music and dance session.
Hansraj Public School, P’kula
The school inaugurated the 11th season of the annual exhibition, “Effervescence 2024”. The exhibition featured an array of exhibits, including AI-based projects, robotic displays and sustainable solutions. Students staged “Sensorial Play”, which was about women empowerment.
Paragon Convent, Chandigarh
A Hindi rhyme recitation competition was organised for the students of nursery and LKG. Tiny tots mesmerised everyone with their power-packed performances, voice modulation and expressions. Their usage of props and clarity of concept added an additional charm to their performances. All participants were motivated and the winners were duly appreciated by Principal Rajni Dutta.
